Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal met with a delegation from Lockheed Martin on Monday to explore opportunities for aircraft manufacturing in India. The delegation was led by Michael Williamson, President of Lockheed Martin International.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Goyal highlighted the discussions, stating that the talks were aimed at strengthening the 'Make in India' initiative within the aerospace and defence sectors.
The meeting underscored India's potential as a manufacturing hub for cutting-edge aircraft, furthering the country’s goals in self-reliance and defense sector growth.
