Srithai Superware plans to invest Rs. 57 cr in Sanand facility.
Thailand-based crockery and home storage items maker, Srithai Superware recently announced to invest Rs. 57 crore to set up a manufacturing facility at Sanand in Gujarat.
The company will manufacture 100 per cent pure melamine crockery items at the plant, which is will be operational in 2015.
In addition to this, the company plans to set up three additional facilities over the next 10 years with a total investment outlay of Rs. 229 crore. As a part of its future expansion strategy, Srithai Superware India plans to export the products to South-Asian countries once the unit becomes operational, the company stated in a statement issued recently.
Mita Chaudhury, Country Manager-India said, 'Srithai Superware enjoys a strong foothold in the Indian market and the launch of Gujarat factory unit will brighten the prospects of those associated with the company.'
