Waaree Partners with Viet Khanh for Large-Scale Solar Project in Vietnam.

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd has announced a significant step in international clean energy collaboration, signing a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Viet Khanh Joint Stock Company. The agreement, revealed recently, paves the way for the execution of turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) works for a 100MWp photovoltaic solar power project in the Ea Mdrod commune of Vietnam.

This strategic alliance marks a pivotal moment in cross-border clean energy cooperation between India and Vietnam. It also represents the second collaboration between Waaree Group and Viet Khanh, following the successful completion of a 49.5 MW project in Vietnam's Cam Ranh province in 2019.

The MoU is designed to reaffirm the strong business relationship and mutual commitment between Waaree and the project owner. Under the terms, Waaree will be responsible for the full scope of design, engineering, construction, testing, and ultimately, the successful connection of the solar power plant to Vietnam's national power grid.

Dinh Xuan Hai Sang, Chairman of Viet Khanh Joint Stock Company, lauded the partnership, stating, "Waaree Group's 49.5MW solar project delivered in 2018-19 has remained one of the highest performing solar installations in Vietnam till date.
