Aequs Plans ₹1,900-Crore Manufacturing Hub in Krishnagiri.

Aequs, a contract manufacturing company specializing in consumer durable goods and aerospace components, announced recently that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu to set up a manufacturing facility for aircraft engines, landing gear, and related systems.

Under the MoU, Aequs and its partners plan to invest ₹1,900 crore in the facility over the next decade.

The proposed unit will be part of a larger ₹4,000-crore Aerospace & Defence manufacturing cluster spanning 250 acres at SIPCOT Shoolagiri in Krishnagiri district, according to a post on X by Guidance. The cluster aims to boost Tamil Nadu’s footprint in high-technology aerospace manufacturing.
