BHEL Bags ₹6,500 Crore Order from Adani Power for Six 800 MW Thermal Units.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has announced a major order win from Adani Power Ltd, valued at approximately ₹6,500 crore, excluding GST. This significant contract involves the supply of equipment and supervision of erection and commissioning for six thermal power units, each with a capacity of 800 MW.

Under the Letter of Award received from Adani Power, BHEL will be responsible for providing steam turbine generators along with their associated auxiliaries for these new units. This order underscores BHEL's crucial role in India's power generation sector and marks a substantial boost for the state-owned engineering and manufacturing giant.
