HCC wins INR 300 crore contract to construct twin tunnel in Delhi.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said that the Mumbai-based engineering and construction company, Hindustan Construction Company, which completed three contracts under phase I and II of the Delhi Metro, has bagged the third contract worth INR 300 crore for the design and construction of a 1.54 kilometer twin tunnel on the Dwarka-Najafgarh corridor under phase III.

According to the contract, HCC has to construct a 290 meter long and 30 meter wide underground station at a depth of 18 meter, which would be one of the biggest underground stations in the country.

DMRC said that the project is to be completed in 36 months.
