Hi-tech universal joins hands for printing tech
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore-based Hi-tech Universal Printers and Publishers Pvt Ltd has joined hands with creative advertising company Signatures Designs and Communications, to offer the latest in printing technology and to cater to publishers of text-books and industrial printing needs.
Dr P.C. Thomas, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hitech Universal, said that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Signatures Designs and Communication was signed.
Mr K.P. Brijesh, Director of Signatures Designs, said the business alliance will give the joint venture initiative under Hi-tech Signatures additional advantage of quality designing in publishing. Signatures will also handle the marketing for the printing and publishing company.
Announcing the joint venture at a press conference here, Dr Thomas said the new venture will target the publishers of text-books, journals and high quality industrial printing required by export houses from Coimbatore and adjoining satellite towns such as Tirupur, Karur and Erode.
According to Dr Thomas, his company has invested Rs 10 crore to set up the 20,000-sq ft printing facility at Mailampatti and the facility includes the Heidelberg technology printing line with pre-press interface that will deliver 13,000 copies per hour.
