"L&T Secures Power Transmission and Distribution Projects in West Asia"

L&T Construction's power transmission and distribution business have marked a significant stride with the acquisition of key contracts in West Asia. In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the construction arm of L&T Ltd has secured an order encompassing the engineering, supply, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 400/132 kV substation. This intricate project involves the provision of essential components such as transformers, reactors, and substation control and monitoring systems.

Expanding its footprint in the region, L&T Construction has also clinched a substantial order in Kuwait. The contract entails the establishment of 400 kV overhead transmission lines, coupled with associated 400 kV underground cable interconnections. Covering a distance of 100 kilometers, this transmission network is strategically designed to enhance both power evacuation and generation capabilities in Kuwait.

Additionally, L&T Construction has secured contracts linked to ongoing substation projects in the West Asian region, further solidifying its position as a key player in the power transmission and distribution sector.

These strategic wins underscore L&T Construction's expertise and capabilities in executing complex projects in the power infrastructure domain.
