Rail Vikas Nigam Secures LOA from NMDC.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from NMDC Limited for a railway infrastructure project in Chhattisgarh.

The contract involves the refurbishment of permanent way of NMDC sidings and mobile equipment tracks, along with their maintenance at the mining locations of Kirandul and Bacheli.

The project, valued at ₹95.27 crore (including 18% GST), falls within the normal course of business for Rail Vikas Nigam, which specializes in rail infrastructure development and related works.

The order strengthens RVNL’s presence in railway infrastructure and maintenance projects linked to the mining sector, particularly for logistics networks supporting NMDC’s iron ore operations in the region.
