Zodiac Energy to Develop Solar Power Project in Zambia After LOI.

Zodiac Energy Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from an international entity based in Zambia for the execution of a turnkey solar power project in Lusaka.

The project involves the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a ground-mounted solar PV power plant with a capacity of 6 MWp DC and 5 MW AC, along with a 1 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The scope of work also includes packing and forwarding, dispatch, transportation with transit insurance, and delivery at site on a DAP (Delivery at Place) basis.

The total value of the order is estimated at US$3,288,000 (approximately ₹30.85 crore), based on prevailing exchange rates as on the date of intimation.

The company said the project is expected to strengthen its presence in the renewable energy sector and contribute to revenues over the execution period.
