Johnson Controls joins hands with Lodha projects

Mumbai: The Mumbai-based real estate developer Lodha Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Johnson Controls Inc, a New York-listed global leader in creating smart environment.

Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions will provide end-to-end facilities management to all Lodha projects. The company manages over one billion sq. ft worldwide, most of which are part of Fortune 500 companies.

Johnson Controls will implement facility improvement, ensure safety, security and comforts for indoor and outdoor environment, optimise energy and create operational efficiencies at the Lodha projects. It will also provide comprehensive tenant, technical and general services, while also taking care of property services, plumbing, electrical, fire detection & suppression systems, house keeping, landscaping, security, waste management, among others.

Ms Stuthi Vijayaraghvan, Senior Vice-President-Strategy group at Lodha, said, “We are confident that their experience and expertise in managing global standard real estate and mega projects will add a lot of value to the landmarks that Lodha has been known for developing”.

Lodha Group is currently developing over 27 projects, comprising 25 million sq. ft, on prime land in and around Mumbai. Recently, the Deutsche Bank invested $425 million in a Lodha Group’s special purpose vehicle.
