Plush to Expand Retail Footprint to 2,000 Stores, Targets ₹60 Crore Revenue in FY25.
Personal hygiene brand Plush is set to expand its retail footprint to 2,000 stores over the next six months, up from its current presence in 500 stores across Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
Alongside its retail growth, Plush is working to localize its manufacturing in India. “For the past six months, we have been working to manufacture our products in India by partnering with third-party vendors. We have shortlisted two locations in North India to set up a plant,” said Ketan Munoth, co-founder of Plush. Currently, the cotton used in its products is imported from the U.S.
The company designs its products in-house and collaborates with raw material manufacturers to custom-produce certain materials, which are then assembled by contract manufacturers in India and overseas.
Founded in 2019, the Chennai-based startup specializes in feminine care products, including period care, hair removal, intimate wellness, and skincare solutions. Plush was co-founded by Ketan Munoth and Prince Kapoor to address women’s hygiene concerns such as rashes, irritation, and redness.
Plush projects a revenue of ₹60 crore in FY25, a significant increase from nearly ₹25 crore in FY24. The company also plans to raise funds within the next six months. “We’ve received strong interest from institutions and family offices. While we were well-capitalized earlier, we are now actively looking at fundraising,” Munoth added.
