Suzlon Bags 400 MW Wind Power Order from Tata Power for Andhra Pradesh Project.
Wind energy solutions provider Suzlon recently said it has secured a repeat order from Tata Power to develop a 400 MW wind energy project in Andhra Pradesh, further strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two companies.
With the latest order, Suzlon's cumulative partnership with Tata Power across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh has crossed the 1 GW milestone, the company said in an exchange filing.
Under the new project, Suzlon will supply and install 127 units of its S144 series wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.
The order adds to Suzlon's growing project pipeline and reinforces its position in India's expanding renewable energy sector, while supporting Tata Power's clean energy capacity expansion plans.
