"Shakti Hörmann Invests ₹175 Crores to Establish State-of-the-Art Wooden Door Manufacturing Plant in Jaipur"
Shakti Hörmann, a prominent player in the commercial, industrial, and residential door manufacturing industry, has announced a significant investment of ₹175 crore to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility covering two lakh square feet in the Mahendra World City, Jaipur.
The Managing Director of Shakti Hörmann, Shashidar Reddy, revealed that this cutting-edge facility will have the capacity to produce an impressive 1.30 lakh doors annually. This strategic move comes as the company continues to expand its operations to meet the growing demand in the market.
The company plans to kickstart operations at the new Jaipur plant during the second quarter of 2024. Shakti Hörmann, headquartered in Hyderabad, made this announcement alongside the launch of a new product range targeting both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer segments. In addition to this, the company inaugurated two experiential centers known as OpenXperience centers, located in Hyderabad and New Delhi.
Shashidar Reddy explained the significance of these OpenXperience centers, stating, "Branded factory-finished doors and exclusive experience stores are non-existent in India. Given the changing demand and requirements of this market, especially with the growth of high-rise apartment complexes, the need of the hour is OpenXperience centers to help consumers get a feel of the doors."
Currently, Shakti Hörmann boasts a manufacturing capacity of over two lakh custom-made doors and door frames, along with the production of over 10,000 industrial doors every year. With a robust track record, the company sells a remarkable 1.10 lakh doors annually and achieved a turnover of ₹270 crore in the previous year. The forthcoming expansion and investment are expected to reinforce Shakti Hörmann's position as a leader in the industry, further catering to the evolving demands of the Indian market.
